Coaching Guru is a coaching college catering for students from Pre-School (ages 3+ years old) to Year 12. We have been in operation for over 30 years. We currently have over 10,000 students throughout Australia receiving expert tuition from 1,000 tutors, at over 65 campuses in Australia, New Zealand & Fiji.
Our College offers extension and support programs in addition to expertly developed term programs to meet the wide range of educational needs of our students and to allow them to realise their potential.
Why is Coaching Guru the best choice for my child’s tuition?
We have grown to over 65 campuses largely through word of mouth. That means our loyal parents are extremely happy with the tuition &Coaching Guru Classes we provide. The highest ever for the state examinations like GATE scores were achieved by many of our students and we have had thousands of success stories in other school Placement, Selective Schools Placement, Scholarship offers and state-based final examination results.
At Coaching Guru, we generally keep to a maximum class of 10 students per class.
Year 1- Year 5Group of 7 students Maximum
Year 6- Year 8Group of 5 students Maximum
Year 9- Year 10 Group of 5 students Maximum
We also offer one-on-one (private tutoring), as an alternative to your child being in a class with up to 10 students i.e., a āsmaller class environment. You can chat to our Friendly student counsellors for the same.
Our success rate is extremely high. In our Primary Program we have over 1,000 success stories in the Selective School, OC placements or GATE Examinations.
The highest ever OC, Selective School Test scores and GATE Examinations were achieved by many Coaching Guru students.
For the last few years, we are very proud of our results. For example, in the last few years, our students won many scholarships on average each year.
In our High School Program, a high proportion of our HSC students achieved an ATAR of 96 to 99. They are accepted into the top universities of their choice. Over the last four years over 100 students scored 98 and 99. In the last two years we have had 10 students score an ATAR of 99.95. Many of our students have appeared on the Scholars List.
What is the percentage of students who are successful in external examinations?
We are extremely proud of our results because our percentage of success is extremely high!
It is hard to be 100% accurate because we are relying on our students to return and tell us about their results.
If they do not tell us, we are not able to count them, so our figures might be on the low side. Last year saw 1000 success stories for selective school placements and Scholarship offers.
Most families who come to Coaching Guru are through word of mouth, and they are less concerned about statistics and more about actual results their children experience. Coaching Guru has a wonderful reputation and our parents are our most genuine recommendation.

My child is extremely bright and says the work is far too easy. Can they jump a level?
In the majority of cases this is not recommended as it can lead to holes in a childās concepts and skills. Decisions regarding jumping level are made by the senior directors. There must be strong evidence for them to consider a student jumping a level. Your child would have to undergo a further assessment before this could be considered.
